Alphabet now comes with an installation CD for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP or later, which automatically adjusts the screen size and colour depth to provide the best viewing of the program.

Alphabet System Requirements
Minimum Requirements (PC):
The minimum requirements are a 486 DX2/66 with 8 MB RAM, a double-speed CD ROM drive and a 16 bit sound card. The program runs entirely from the CD ROM so there are no disk space requirements.
Graphics requirements: The ability to display 256 colours is a minimum requirement. At this colour depth the digital video sequences will display but the image will be poor. The program will run far better at a colour depth of 65,000 colours (16 bit - high colour) or higher. All modern graphics cards are capable of this colour depth.
The program runs under Microsoft Windows 3.1 or Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000 or XP. Does not support Windows Vista.

Minimum Requirements (Mac): For the Mac you will need a Macintosh with a 68040 chip with 8 MB of RAM.
Graphics requirements: The ability to display 256 colours is a minimum requirement. At this colour depth the digital video sequences will display but the image will be poor.
The program will run far better at a colour depth of 32,000 or 65,000 colours (15 or 16 bit). All modern graphics cards are capable of this colour depth.

Recommended requirements (PC):
A 486 DX4/100 (or better still a Pentium) with 16 MB of RAM or more. A quad-speed CD-ROM drive.
