Support for Kevin Goes to the Zoo
Geddes Productions

Printing problem: In the earliest release of this program a problem occurs in the "Zoo games" section when using the "finish the sentence" option. Printing repeatedly results in increasing numbers of animal names being added to the caption below the picture

Solution: If you choose the "Back" button and reselect "Finish the sentence" it will then print the next picture without problems. If you want to do a lot of printing and this problem becomes too much of an issue for you,E-mail usabout an update

Spelling the child's name: When multiple words are entered for a child's name problems can be encountered with the second or later words.

Solution: This occurs when more than one space character is entered between words. Delete the name and reenter with only one space between each word.

How do I get the videos to play full-screen?

Solution: In the "Zoo" section the videos will play full screen if you click the mouse on the video itself. Clicking on it again reduces the video back to 320x240 size. Full screen will give smooth video only with a Pentium or a 486 with a graphics card that gives good video acceleration. The videos will not play full-screen in the "Word games" section.

Videos play but with jerky motion:

Solution: This is usually either because your CD-ROM drive is too slow or you graphics card is too slow. Any modern CD drive will avoid this. If you have a 486 computer then you will need a graphics card with video acceleration to be able to display the animal videos full screen.
